Reporting into the Site Director and managing a large team, you will sit on the SLT and be the leader of the large transport division recognising you will play a critical part in the operational success of the business.
You will be used to working in a challenging fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for managing six direct reports and ultimately a team upwards of coordinating a complex delivery schedule.
This business has not got to the number one spot by compromising on quality or service drives and are continually open to how to improving their operation (they are currently going through two major new system upgrades).

What you will need:
1. Expert knowledge of Transport Legislation, Working Time Directive and Tachograph law and current holder of CPC (National), with CPC (International) desirable
2. Knowledge and experience of Telematics and transport route planning tools in addition to generic IT skills
3. Good financial acumen and experience of running a transport operation
4. Experienced people manager who has developed successful teams by encouraging, inspiring, and enabling the team to be the very best they can be
