About the Role
As a Sales Manager Optical UK & Ireland at SIAE MICROELETTRONICA you will undertake Sales Responsibility for Telecommunication Transport Optical Market for SIAE UK Ltd in the territory with the objective of consolidating and expanding the sales and business of the Company.
Responsibilities
* Develop business opportunities for Optical equipment, services and turnkey solutions;
* Being responsible for the sales budget and customers assigned
* Search and study new opportunities to be presented as business cases for approvals;
* For the approved opportunities, being accountable for all sales process phases (from the trial, to the commercial- contract negotiation and day do day delivery, up to invoice and payments)
* Maintains Forecast accuracy on opportunities and up-to-date and accurate sales records in the agreed tool and format
* Collaborate and manage “cross-functional” activities involved in the sales cycle such as pre-sales, services, and customer support
* Work internally with Product Management, Services & Customer Service teams to exceed customers/partners and customer expectations
* Detailed monthly report on opportunities/customers/competitors/issue, ect
Key Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Telecommunications/Electronics;
* 5 recent years of experience in the same market/role and with the established relations with key decision makers of the potential customers
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
* Having know-how of Telco infrastructure market;
* Being aware of purchasing process within Telco operators;
* Having a network of people both within operators and in the market;
* Technical experience is welcome;
* Availability to travel and weekly personally meet customers
* 70% of the working time with Customers
