Due to an increase in demand, Pertemps are working in partnership with the Royal Mail to source Collection Drivers to support with their busy operation starting from 18/11/2024.Location: CardiffHours: 2pm start, finish approx. 6pm-7pmShift: Monday to Friday Hourly Rate: £13.37 per hour PAYEAbout the Collection Driver role
* You will be responsible for collection of parcels and mail by driving on a dedicated route, whilst maintaining our high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service.
* Other duties may also include sorting of mail/parcels within the delivery office. Our Postal Delivery Drivers will be provided with an induction.
About You
* The ideal candidate for this role will be upbeat, self-motivated, and happy to work alone as well as part of a team.
* You will be helpful and approachable displaying a strong sense of community, as you get to know the people you meet on your round.
* Royal Mail deliver parcels whatever the weather, so you will enjoy working outdoors.
* You will be smartly presented, always acting in a professional and courteous manner.
Previous Experience
1. Some previous experience in a customer facing or delivery role would be ideal but not essential.
