Nescot is seeking a passionate Sports and Public Services Lecturer to join our dynamic team. This part-time role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by contributing to our vibrant department, inspiring students, and fostering academic excellence. Located in the easily accessible Epsom campus in Surrey, the position is perfect for individuals with a background in teaching or relevant industry experience.
As a Sports and Public Services Lecturer at Nescot, you will be responsible for delivering both practical and theory-based content across levels 1 to 3. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting our students’ wellbeing and achievement, preparing them for success in the industry.

Duties and responsibilities:
* Teach both practical and theory-based content
* Plan and deliver teaching at level 1 to 3
* Provide support to students
* Plan curriculum needs with the team
* Prepare teaching materials in all formats
* Provide students with the programme of study
* Act as an internal assessor

Nescot is graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted following its latest inspection in January 2023. Inspectors rated the College as Good in all 8 aspects. The report recognises that students “enjoy their courses and are motivated to succeed”, and benefit from “highly supportive relationships” with staff. Safeguarding arrangements are “effective” with regular training for staff, and leaders have in place “an effective policy for safer recruitment.”
