MotorMatch Recruitment Ltd are representing a leading automotive repair garage dedicated in providing top-quality service and vehicle body repairs. The repair centre is seeking a skilled Vehicle Paint Technician to join their team in Exeter.
As a Paint Technician, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
* Thoroughly inspecting vehicles to ensure they are completed to a high standard, adhering to the guidelines
* Preparing vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding and priming surfaces
* You will need good knowledge of mixing paint using electronic systems, colour matching to achieve the correct colour and consistency to ensure a perfect and seamless finish
* Carry out repairs in line to stringent repair methodology
* You will have an array of experience with paint application, using various techniques
* You will also be responsible for masking, prepping, priming and polishing the vehicle
* Ensure a clean working environment
* You will adhere to the safety procedures, including handling and disposal of hazardous materials
* Working closely with the team
* Capability to record productive time spent using an electronic workshop/time recording system
As a Paint Technician, you will ideally have:
* Previous experience as a Paint Technician in an accident repair centre / bodyshop
