Role: Purchase Ledger Clerk
Contract Type: 12-month Fixed Term Contract (maternity cover)
Work Type : Hybrid (following successful probation period).
Location: Leeds
Salary: £24,5000 per annum
Requirements: Experience in a similar Accounts role, preferably within the Construction industry.
Purchase Ledger Clerk Role Description:
Interaction are delighted to be working with a leading Construction company in the Leeds area looking to welcome an organised Purchase Ledger Clerk into their team for a 12-month fixed term maternity cover.
Purchase Ledger Clerk Responsibilities:
1. Processing expenses and overhead invoices
2. Matching timesheets and processing labour agency invoices
3. 3-way matching, batching and coding invoices
4. Raising payments
5. Dealing with payment queries
6. Assisting with any other duties as required
Purchase Ledger Clerk Requirements:
7. Suitably qualified in experience in a similar Accounts role
8. Competent using Microsoft office, particularly Excel (using spreadsheets to code and upload invoices)
9. Able to accurately deal with high volumes of invoices and data entry
10. Organised and methodical, with the ability to keep to very strict deadlines
11. Highly focussed with thorough attention to detail
12. Strong in numeracy
13. Experienced in 3-way matching, ideally within a Construction environment (desirable).
