Job Title: Shift Technician - Data Centre
Location: Wokingham, United Kingdom
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off

Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and maintain data centre infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and power distribution systems.
2. Conduct routine maintenance tasks and respond promptly to equipment failures or alarms.
3. Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issues.
4. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment repairs and upgrades.
5. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for data centre operations.
6. Document procedures and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
Requirements:
7. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a data centre environment.
8. Strong technical skills in areas such as server hardware, networking, and power systems.
9. Familiarity with data centre management tools and monitoring systems.
10. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
11. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
12. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, etc.) are a plus.
