We are seeking a Casual Imaging Assistant at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC.
Days of work: Rotating, Days
Shift times: 07:30 to 15:30

What will you work on?
This position performs a variety of clerical duties such as:
•Transporting assigned patients to and from the department using mechanical aids such as wheelchairs and/or stretchers; assisting patients to undress/dress as required.
•Prepares procedure rooms and other related areas by performing duties.
•Performs clerical functions such as answering telephone; making appointments.
•In accordance with established procedures performs daily Meditech exam audits (ordered, taken, signed); investigates problems; makes corrections; and notifies appropriate staff as required.
•Maintains supplies/inventory on designated unit.
•Delivers/picks up items such as equipment, supplies, and specimens, to and from various areas of the hospital as directed.
•Submits routine maintenance requests for department equipment such as wheelchairs, stretchers etc. in accordance with established procedures.
•Participates in continuous quality improvement activities by performing duties such as providing input/feedback to Manager (or designate) on work procedures and opportunities for process improvement.
•Assists with orienting new staff.
•Performs other related duties as assigned.
