Job summary
We are looking for a friendly and motivated Appointments /Clerical Officer to provide efficient and effective support in delivering a high quality service to patients. You would be joining our friendly team within the Podiatry & Orthotic service, working from Port Talbot Resource Centre.
The post holder will require to have excellent communication skills, have a positive and flexible approach, be able to adapt to the continuous changes of the service and also enjoy working as part of a busy team.
The role will involve providing administrative support such as the processing of clinic changes, the correct recording of patient pathways, the retrieval, preparation and filing of patient notes as and when required. To deal with telephone calls from members of the public, in a confidential and professional manner.

Main duties of the job
Responsible for the day-to-day administration support of the Service.Provide a confidential administrative and reception service to the of the Service.Updating of electronic and paper-based systems, collating of information, mail distribution etc.Participate in CPD and develop skills and knowledge through participation in Health Board Education Programme and other developmental activities.
