We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at a top hotel in Ascot. As part of a skilled brigade, you will assist the Executive Head Chef in serving food in the all-day Brasserie Restaurant and fine dining restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working closely with the Executive Chef to ensure high-quality dishes are prepared and presented to a high standard.
* Leading a team of junior chefs to achieve excellent results in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Developing and maintaining menus that showcase Modern British cuisine using fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients.
* Ensuring strong management skills and attention to detail to drive kitchen efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
* Proven track record as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef looking to step up to a leadership role.
* Ability to work unsupervised and develop junior team members.
* Experience of working in a 1-2AA rosette kitchen with a strong understanding of quality and presentation.
* Ambitious and career-oriented with a passion for delivering exceptional results.
