What you'll do:
As a Production Team Leader, you will be a vital part of our manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing line and team performance to hit production deadlines.
* Promote team members development in continuous improvement (CI) activities, and recommend further training where necessary.
* Liaise with the Production Manager regularly on issues involving production schedule and schedule changes, drawings, quality and staffing issues.
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
* Ensure all team members are wearing the correct PPE.
* Monitor waste and scrap levels, and develop methods to reduce it.
* Reject/ Scrap nonconforming product
* Liaise with yard personnel when materials need to be brought to or taken from your production area
* Coordinate all time sheets and KPIs, for the Production Manager.
* Monitor production during the day to ensure it is staying on schedule.
* Undertake general stock take to ensure stock levels and accurate.
