Location: Southampton
Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: January 2024 (with opportunities to start earlier)
Are you a talented and inspiring Art Teacher? We are seeking a Teacher of Art to join an energetic and creative secondary school in Southampton. If you’re passionate about fostering creativity and helping students develop their artistic talents, this role is for you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Teaching Art and Design to KS3 and KS4 students, with the possibility of expanding into KS5.
* Encouraging creativity and artistic expression through a wide range of media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, and digital art.
* Supporting students in developing their portfolios for GCSE assessments.
* Contributing to the school's extracurricular art programme including exhibitions and after-school clubs.
* Working collaboratively within the Art Department to foster a culture of creativity.
Ideal Candidate:
* QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Art and Design at secondary level.
* Passionate about helping students explore their creative potential and build technical skills.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to contribute to school exhibitions and extra-curricular activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
