Regional Sales Manager
Based: Remote UK (20-50% travel requirement)
We have a fantastic Regional Sales Manager opportunity to join our DIS (Digital Identity and Security) team.
As RSM, you’ll be responsible for B2B sales and business development activities for targeted verticals within the UK&I territory, planning and managing all Thales sales related activity.
Key responsibilities
On a day-to-day basis, you’ll:
1. Own and develop a sales strategy to win new business in defined verticals and hit annual sales quota
2. Develop a high profile presence within the targeted verticals and accounts and be seen as a trusted advisor / subject matter expert
3. Drive new logo engagement through the sales cycle and track activity via CRM tools
4. Utilise Thales sales tools and support teams to win new business
5. Collaborate with Resellers and Distributors to unlock new opportunity within targeted prospect accounts
6. Be responsible for accurate management information reporting, including forecasting and CRM updates
7. Be an expert in IAM and present solutions to clients / prospects frequently
About you
Ideally, you’ll have:
8. Demonstrable sales experience in a New Business selling role
9. Experience and knowledge of CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management)
10. Proven ability to self-network and consistently win new business
11. Demonstrable success in a quota driven and complex selling position
12. Proven experience of consultative selling at C-suite level with the ability to present complex solutions
13. The ability to manage time effectively in order to optimise sales activity
14. Exceptional sales and communication skills and good writing and presentation skills
15. The ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
16. Experience (co-)write proposals, answering and presenting RFPs and guiding POC
17. Familiarity with Enterprise Sales methodologies e.g. MEDDPICC
