Building Surveyor - required for your client based in Oxfordshire .This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor looking to work within an established, multi-disciplinary, consultancy. This highly reputable consultancy is renowned throughout the UK and offers fantastic training and support.
The successful Building Surveyor will join the Building Surveying team and will offer an excellent opportunity to develop their career and work towards their APC and Chartered or Associate membership of the RICS. The Building Surveyor will have 3+ years post-qualification experience and a degree within a Building Surveying discipline.
Building Surveyor Position Overview
1. Professional and project related building surveying services across multiple sectors (non-residential)
2. Condition surveys and preparing reports for a variety of purposes and taking accurate particulars on site
3. Specifications and schedules of work
4. Liaising design information to CAD technicians in preparing drawing packages
5. Preparing budget
6. Submitting planning and building control applications
7. Attending Client meetings and interim site inspections
8. Assisting with party wall matters
Building Surveyor Position Requirements
9. Degree within Building Surveying
10. Must have 3+ yrs post grad experience
11. Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
12. Strong negotiation, presentation and report writing skills
13. Experience in undertaking condition surveys
14. Knowledge of relevant documentation under CDM2015
15. Commercial awareness and the ability to ensure that you are adding maximum value
16. Excellent IT skills
17. Full UK driving licence
Building Surveyor Position Remuneration
18. Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 (Guide only - DOE)
19. Contribution towards a personal pension scheme (up to 5% of salary)
20. Salary Sacrifice Scheme
21. Initial 25 days holiday (3 held for the Christmas period)
22. Additional holiday can be accrued in accordance with the number of years of service, up to a total of 28 days
