Service Care Solutions are working with the Scottish Covid-19 Inquiry looking for a number of Legal Assistants to support the Inquiry’s work. This is a unique opportunity to support a large scale and, high-profile statutory Public Inquiry investigating Scotland's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This role requires excellent attention to detail, due to the high volumes of documents that require rigorous legal analysis; and strong interpersonal skills as you will be working closely with all members of the Inquiry. You must have flexibility and adaptability with working as part of a small project team, you will be expected to embrace and adapt to change as the project develops. Requirements: Qualified/ finishing LLB or LLM in Scots Law Understanding of Scots Law Start ASAP - After BPSS checks Some experience in a law firm is desirable Are you qualified in Scottish law and would like to Join a Public inquiry today This is a Contract role until 31 March 2026 Hybrid working Policy, but will require 2 days a week in the office minimum. Salary per annum ( £32,455)From January 2025. You will be on a LTD day rate of: £165.34 Take your first steps into law, working within a public inquiry with great support from Solicitors and Paralegals.
