Management Accountant - Ballyrashane Lakeland Dairies Co-operative Society Limited (The Group) is the second largest dairy processor on the island of Ireland. The Group’s Agribusiness Division (Lakeland Agri) operates a state-of-the-art Animal Feed Manufacturing Facility and is a leading and innovative provider of the highest quality feeds and agricultural inputs to dairy, beef, and sheep farmers across the north and south of Ireland. Applications are invited for the above position of Management Accountant for our Ballyrashane site: The Role: The successful applicant will play a key role within the site Finance team assisting with the collation and preparation of key financial information and reports including month and year end account postings and journals. Additional key responsibilities will include: Conduct departmental overhead reviews with departmental managers. Carry out business unit profitability analysis Maintain the monthly fixed asset register and post depreciation journals Prepare monthly P&L and balance sheet pack for specific business units Assist in Financial Analysis as required. The Person: The ideal candidate will have a strong accounts background possessing relevant practical experience in a similar role. The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate the following: Previous relevant accountancy experience; Relevant Accountant qualification (qualified or part-qualified) ACCA, CIMA or ACA. Advanced Excel skills, experience in the use of SAP or ERP system. Ability to multi-task, displaying skills in establishing priorities and managing workloads to meet challenging deadlines.
