Overview
My client, a large Lighting manufacturer, is seeking a Key Account Manager to join their team in the South West region. The ideal candidate will have experience in specification sales and project-based sales within the logistics and warehousing sector, specifically focused on cold stores, distribution centers, and manufacturing units.
Responsibilities
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the designated region to promote and create demand for their products and services
2. Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the sales pipeline and meet company sales targets, leveraging their products and services
3. Collaborate with internal teams to provide support and lighting solutions to key accounts, utilizing their products and services
4. Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities and use this knowledge to position their products effectively
5. Provide feedback from the market to the company for product development and improvement to enhance their offerings
Qualifications
6. Proven experience in specification sales and project-based sales, ideally with a background in lighting solutions
7. Strong understanding of the logistics and warehousing sector, with a focus on lighting requirements and solutions
8. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a deep understanding of their products and services
9. Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, leveraging knowledge of lighting requirements
10. Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets, utilizing their product range effectively
11. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field
Day-to-day
12. Engage with existing key accounts to assess their ongoing lighting requirements and provide their lighting solutions
13. Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the sales pipeline for their lighting products and services
14. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional activities for their lighting solutions
15. Participate in industry events and trade shows to network and promote their lighting products and services
16. Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities and market insights related to their lighting solutions to the management team
