We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our committed team, working specifically to support individual children with Specific Special Educational Needs. Previous experience working with children with individual and specific needs would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will:
1. Hold a Level 2 / 3 in Teaching and Learning in School (or equivalent)
2. Have a strong belief in inclusion, diversity, and the right of each child to be successful whatever their needs, abilities & background.
3. Be determined to provide the very best outcomes for the children they work with
4. Work hard to maintain positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
5. Have effective communication skills, both oral and written
6. Know how to effectively support children’s development of reading, writing and maths knowledge and skills
7. Work closely with class teachers to promote children’s learning and achievement
8. Demonstrate a willingness to take on board advice in order to develop further.

The position will be for 25 hours a week over 5 days. The post is linked to funding for the pupil while they remain on roll at the school
