Cabrini Maternity Services
Cabrini Maternity at Malvern births over 2000 births every year. Our comprehensive Maternity Services include 6 birth suites, a fully equipped Special Care Nursery and luxurious antenatal and postnatal rooms.
About the role
An exciting and key leadership position is available for a dynamic, highly motivated, and qualified Registered Midwife to lead the Maternity Services team at Cabrini Malvern.
This role is ideal for a leader passionate about maternal and newborn health, looking to build on current leadership experience. The successful candidate will be innovative and visionary, focused on building a cohesive, patient-centred care team.
In this leadership role, you will manage inpatient maternity services, lead and supervise staff, coordinate clinical activities, oversee finances, and promote ongoing quality improvement. In In this role, your focus will be on optimizing patient safety and ensuring an exceptional experience for patients and their families. This is a permanent full-time role, with an individual contract/salary, reporting directly to the Clinical Services Director - Medical Services.
Key Capabilities
7. Registered Midwife with current AHPRA registration
8. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Maternity Unit (Essential)
9. Previous management experience (Essential)
10. Demonstrated experience in change management
11. Exceptional communication skills
12. Adaptable to change within an evolving service
13. Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes
14. High-level organisational skills
15. A qualification in management or working towards it will be highly regarded
16. Flexibility and a positive attitude
17. Holds or is working towards a Postgraduate qualification.
18. Ability to work within the Mission and Values of the organisation
