Job title: Data Analyst – Tax
Location: Welwyn Garden City/Hybrid
Duration: 6 months initially

The role:
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure accurate and compliant UK employment tax reporting by collating and analysing payroll, expense, and benefit data. The role involves working closely with the Employment Tax Manager to prepare and review tax liabilities, deliver precise data for executive benefits, and coordinate monthly CIS reporting.
Responsibilities:
Collating and analysing payroll, expense and benefit data as needed for UK employment tax reporting requirements including P11Ds, PSA and other year-end reports to be submitted to HMRC.
Working with the Employment Tax Manager to
prepare and review the estimated tax liability on benefits provided and reported on P11Ds or PSA
deliver timely and accurate data to the CoSec team for Main Board and Executives’ benefits.
coordinate the monthly CIS reporting.
Coordinating with cost centre owners for payments needed to be made to HMRC for tax/NIC reported on P11Ds or PSA.
Working with the Expenses team in Bengaluru to prepare AMAPs letters for colleagues.
Supporting with collating the data for other employment tax matters (currently including locum provision, RME NIC refund calculations)
Working with wider UK teams including People Change, Reward, Global Mobility on projects and adhoc queries impacting employment tax reporting.
Working with the UK tax team and Head of Payroll Governance and Compliance on audit reviews and adhoc projects.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement across processes and reporting.
Requirements:
Advanced Excel – key requirement to be able to manipulate and analyse large data sets.
Microsoft office including word and PowerPoint.
Experience of UK Employment Tax preferred but data analysis is key for this role.
