About the Role:
Quality Personnel is currently seeking aPurchasing Administratorfor our client on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of service and support within the purchasing function. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to quickly integrate into an established team, while also contributing to process improvement and supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Daily review of buyer workbench using the ERP system
2. Raising, maintaining, and expediting Purchase Orders (stock and non-stock)
3. Preparing pricing quotes for various departments (design, sales, intercompany, and incoming freight)
4. Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships
5. Managing part parameters, stocking levels, and price lists on ERP system
