We are currently seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable professional to join our client's team at a well-established Supported Housing Charity in Hammersmith and Fulham, London.
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of our client's organisation. You will be responsible for managing expenditure accounting, accounts payable, reconciliations, financial management control, raising purchase orders, and setting up purchase invoices.
Key Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner
Perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
Maintain financial management control by adhering to established procedures and policies
Raise purchase orders and set up purchase invoices, ensuring accurate allocation and coding
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve any payment discrepancies or issues
Contribute to the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications:
Solid experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role
Proficiency in expenditure accounting and financial management control
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
In return for your dedication and expertise, our client offers a competitive annual salary ranging from £31, to £33, (pro rata - 21hrs per week) based on qualifications and experience. The role is a permanent, part-time position offering a flexible working pattern with hybrid working options.
