As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating targeted new business opportunities at the top of the funnel. You will play a crucial role in identifying and nurturing prospective clients that have a potential need for our unique proposition.
As the Business Development Manager, your main objective will be to originate and initially develop qualified opportunities that match our expertise and target sectors. Your efforts will play a vital role in expanding our client base and driving revenue and profit growth for the organisation.
This position requires an individual with a solid understanding of the creative, marketing, and web design and development market.
Primary Objectives:
1. Develop and implement a business development plan that aligns with our growth strategy and targets core vertical sectors.
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within these core vertical sectors.
3. Present our joined-up value proposition and service offerings to potential clients, emphasising our unique expertise, track record, and the impact we can have on their business, whilst demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs and challenges.
4. Collaborate seamlessly with delivery teams to resource and transition opportunities effectively for pitching and progression to closure.
5. Meet annual sales targets and monthly quotas, providing regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
6. Establish and nurture strong relationships with key client stakeholders and decision-makers.
7. Maintain relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling.
8. Work with the senior leadership team to align business development strategies with company goals.
9. Conduct market and client research/analysis to identify ideal prospect clients and understand their challenges and opportunities.
10. Represent Anything at industry events to enhance our presence within relevant sectors.
11. Monitor industry trends, analyse competitor activities, and identify potential target markets.
Skills Required:
12. 3+ years sales experience
13. Demonstrated, consistent success in business development or sales, ideally within the creative, design and development, or technology sectors.
14. Comprehensive understanding of our market and its dynamics.
15. Self-motivated, proactive, and driven to achieve results.
16. Collaborative team player with outstanding communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
17. Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to establish credibility and trust with stakeholders at all levels.
18. Strong influencing capabilities.
19. Willingness and flexibility to travel as required to meet clients and represent Anything at industry events.
