Customer Service Advisor & Administrator
This role would be ideal for someone looking to gain experience within the Insurance sector where they can develop their skills within customer service and administration. You will be proactively managing and settling a portfolio of insurance claims across homebuyer protection, gadget, household, leisure, and property lines as efficiently and economically as possible, whilst providing a market leading standard of service to customers and other stakeholders.
Location: Chipping Norton, OX7
Salary: £22,500 - £25,000 (DOE)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs per week - between 9AM - 5.30PM, 7.5 hours per day
What you will be doing:
1. Acting as the first point of contact with policy holders wishing to make a claim under their designated insurance cover.
2. Creating a claims file; accurately logging comprehensive details of the claim.
3. Effectively handling all claims from registration to completion.
4. Using a variety of communication approaches to build rapport and a positive relationship to help manage the customer predicament and deliver the right outcome.
5. Negotiating effectively with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure a fair settlement is achieved for the customer and the company.
What we need from you:
1. Previous Insurance industry experience - desirable but not essential.
2. Good IT skills with the ability to use multiple systems (Microsoft, bespoke packages).
3. Good organisation skills.
If your application is successful with us: We hold one induction a month which takes place on the first full week of the month. You will join other new starters from across the business for the 3-day, residential* induction, during which you will meet with Senior Leaders & Directors from all areas to gain a comprehensive overview of each product line, and how the different teams operate across the group. There will also be a lunch or meal booked with People & Culture, so you are able to have more social interaction with each other and some of the team.
*Residential is dependent upon the candidate’s location.
