Henderson Setterfield, a successful independent boutique Letting, Sales and Property Management Agency, is looking for an exceptional and ambitious Assistant to join their busy Lettings & Sales team at their office in Broadstairs.
The candidate would be part of the Lettings & Sales Teams and would work in conjunction with other members of the teams and report to the Director of Lettings.
The ideal candidate would be a team player with a superb eye for detail and a willingness to embrace positive change. The understanding and knowledge of appropriate technology is essential.
Job Responsibilities
Although not an exhaustive list, the role would encompass the following duties:
1. Answering incoming phone calls and directing them to the correct Team Member
2. Taking messages from Vendors, Landlords and Tenants.
3. Answering email enquiries from potential rental tenants, calling them and booking in viewings if suitable
4. Carrying out viewings in conjunction with other members of the team.
5. Collating feedback for the Landlord from the viewings
6. Taking holding deposits from successful tenants
7. Informing potential tenants that they have been unsuccessful in securing a property
8. Answering calls for the Sales department and taking messages and doing viewings
9. Taking rent payments, both over the phone and in person
10. Maintaining and updating the filing system
11. Welcoming Clients
12. Scanning and Archiving Documentation
13. Database work
14. Updating the website and, in conjunction with the Director of Lettings, posting social media posts
15. Arranging for Let boards to be delivered and collected from properties
16. Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
17. Any other tasks required by the Director of Lettings
Requirements of the Candidate
* Knowledge of IT systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Trustworthy and genuine persona
* Able to work in a fast paced and stressful environment
* Excellent communicator, verbally, written and face to face, with a smart, cheerful and professional appearance

Pay: £23,795.20 per year
