Are you a passionate and dedicated Religious Studies Teacher ? We are seeking an inspiring Religious Studies Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Hackney. Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective Religious Studies lessons to students up to KS4, with the majority of lessons in the academic year 24/25 being at KS3.
* Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and personal growth.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Religious Studies curriculum and share best practices.
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success.
* Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development sessions.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Proven experience in teaching Religious Studies at the secondary level.
* Strong subject knowledge in Religious Studies.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* A passion for education and a commitment to student achievement.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
