Are you interested in working with children with special educational needs? Zest Education is currently recruiting for Teaching Assistant(s) on behalf of SEND schools around West Bromwich. These roles are available on a full-time and part-time basis to start ASAP on a short-term or long-term/permanent basis.
The ideal Teaching Assistant(s) will be supporting students between the ages of 3 years old up to 19 years old. To be considered for our roles, the candidate must at least have one of the following minimum experience, training, or qualifications:
* SEND school-based experience within the last 5 years in a school that teaches the British Curriculum (minimum of 3 months experience)
* Care-based experience within the last 5 years (minimum of 3 months experience)
* Health & Social Care Level 3 Qualification
Typical Teaching Assistant(s) responsibilities of these roles include:
* Providing 1:1 support to students with special educational needs and disabilities, helping them with academic tasks, social interactions, and personal care needs
* Supporting the teacher in delivering lessons, activities and individualised education plans
* Keeping records of students’ progress and development, noting any achievements
* Maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for all students, adhering to health and safety regulations
