Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled, experienced and motivated Care Manager with a strong care background and a passion for high quality care to join our team in Crowborough immediately.
As our Care Manager, reporting directly to the Director, you will be responsible for the growth and development of our domiciliary care service ensuring the delivery of outstanding quality care. This will include being responsible for quality control, managing the needs of the clients and day to day management of internal staff and our Care Professionals. This role is suitable for both an experienced Care Manager looking for a new challenge or a highly motivated individual experienced in care who is looking for the next step up in their career.
In this varied and challenging role, you will be involved in:
1. Working closely with the Director to coordinate the development of a high quality private domiciliary care service for older people in the local area
2. Converting new client enquiries and coordinating staffing rotas
3. Care planning and conducting risk assessments ensuring compliance to relevant legal and regulatory requirements
4. Managing a team, making sure that exceptional service is delivered to our clients and workloads are managed accordingly
5. Ensuring successful operation of quality control systems and performing quality assurance visits for clients
Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Salary will be discussed based on competency and could range from £35 per annum. A salary review will be conducted after the successful completion of the 3-month probation period. Upon proven performance can go up to £40,000.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will need to have:
6. Extensive care experience with a proven track record in providing consistent excellent customer service.
7. Proven experience in leading, training and managing a team to provide high quality domiciliary care services.
8. Strong skills in conducting care assessment and care planning.
9. Good understanding of systems and processes.
10. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
11. Drive and motivation to take on a broad role and develop care services.
12. Passionate about providing the highest quality of care.
13. Ability to work well and accurately under pressure.
14. Be responsive, agile and remain calm whilst dealing with multiple priorities.
15. Be flexible to meet demands of the business including participating in an on-call rota.
16. Good working knowledge of IT Systems with experience of Microsoft Office or Google Suite, working with databases and virtual communication platforms with the ability to learn and adopt new technologies where appropriate.
