English Teacher
We are seeking a passionate and committed English Teacher to join our dynamic client secondary school from October 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students. This role is ideal for educators looking to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the flexibility of supply work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the English department to enhance curriculum delivery.
- Attend departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices.
- Participate in parents’ evenings and other school events as required.
Requirements:
- UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS or PGCE equivalent).
- Experience teaching English at KS3 & KS4 level.
- A genuine passion for education and commitment to student success.
- Strong subject knowledge with innovative approaches to teaching.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students.
