Programme Manager - £58,000 Benefits - 18m FTC We’re looking for an experienced Programme Manager to join our charity organisation on an 18-month fixed-term contract. This role will focus on enhancing ways of working within a specific business area to support growth and operational efficiency. You’ll play a key role in assessing the business area, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring operational resources align with commercial objectives. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate Existing Ways of Working : Review the full life cycle of the roles within the department, identifying areas for improvement and growth. Forecasting and Analysis : Conduct detailed analyses to understand the impact of increased business levels on staffing, resources, and operational capacity. Develop Growth Strategies : Formulate strategies to maximize revenue opportunities within existing contracts while ensuring alignment with the charity’s goals. Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Work closely with teams across departments (e.g., print, production, procurement) to prepare for potential growth and operational changes. Client Engagement : Partner with clients to understand their needs, aligning contract terms to mutually beneficial outcomes. Financial Performance & Reporting : Analyse and report on financial performance, margins, and resource allocation to support data-driven decision-making. Process Improvement : Identify and implement process improvements in contract management, procurement, and operational workflows. Ensure Compliance : Uphold charity policies, legal standards, and best practices throughout contract management. Key Skills & Experience: Proven experience in project management, preferably with a professional qualification in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP). Strong background in reviewing Ways of Working, including financial analysis, commercial forecasting, and negotiation. Excellent analytical skills to evaluate the commercial impact of changes and growth initiatives. Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in project management tools and organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously This role is based in Edinburgh and requires the individual to be able to go into the office 3-days a week.
