Job Overview
We’re seeking a Senior Regional Sales Manager to drive sales for Black Duck Software based in Germany (Remote) preferably based in Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg or Berlin.
Responsibilities and Duties
This individual contributor must be highly motivated, driven and ideally have a proven track record in selling software and services to CISOs, software development and security teams in enterprise accounts. The role requires candidates to be team players who build external and internal relationships working closely with their Sales Engineer, Client Manager as well the Channel and Partner Team.
The goal for this position is to close enterprise agreements selling Black Duck software and services and in so doing to meet or exceed the quarterly and annual sales plans.
The role requires travel to client and prospect locations in Germany and other parts of the DACH region.
Experience Required
* Strong skills and experience in solution selling of broad product and services portfolio in complex customer environments.
* Minimum of five years’ enterprise software sales experience
* Proven track record of overachieving their annual sales plan
* Experience in selling Application Security Testing solutions to Défense, Mid-market, financial verticals would be an advantage
* Proven track record of closing complex six-or-seven figure agreements
* Excellent communication and presentation skills – fluent German and English are mandatory for the role.
* Solid understanding of modern Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
* Experience of selling tools in the domain of AppSec, CI/CD, DevSecOps and automation would be an advantage
