Aldridge is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic IT Project Engineer to join our team. The goal of the Project Engineer is to deliver high-quality, efficient projects to Aldridge clients. Working with the broader Project Management team, this Engineer will be responsible for the successful on-time and on-budget completion of multiple concurrent projects in various environments.
Accountabilities:
1. Thoroughly complete assigned Projects and tickets.
2. Review Scopes of Work to understand the goals and the target environment, and to identify risks, hurdles, and solutions (contingency plans).
3. Ensure high client stakeholder satisfaction.
4. Ensure high Aldridge stakeholder satisfaction.
5. Document work (upcoming and completed) and time spent on projects in the PSA and Client Documentation Systems.
6. Attend regular project team meetings: daily Projects huddle, weekly Projects status meeting.
This role requires:
1. 3+ years of practical field experience deploying new technology, such as the implementation and administration of O365 and VoIP, network infrastructure upgrades, Server deployment/migration in a variety of environments.
2. 3-5 years of Helpdesk/Desktop Support experience, preferably in an MSP environment.
3. Strong creative problem-solving skills.
4. Voracious thirst for knowledge and continuous improvement.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
6. Strong written and interpersonal communication abilities to deliver exceptional customer service to our clients.
7. 3-5 years of experience with ticketing systems.
8. Professional IT Certifications such as MCSA or MCSE (Microsoft 365 & Azure), Cisco, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or VMware VCP would be ideal, but not required.
