Location: Barrow in Furness/North West - Some travel
Hours of work: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Role Responsibilities:
* Manage the bid and resource coordination process involving both direct and indirect staff management.
* Provide information and prepare proposal submissions, solution and option appraisal of new methods of FM Service delivery to identify valid and viable commercial delivery options.
* Proactively improve communications, management procedures, and systems to maximize profitability and improve operational efficiencies.
* Utilize BMF Estimating package/system to verify validity of bids.
* Obtain specialist subcontractor costs.
* Formulate bids based on BDM brief where required.
* Labour loading of asset information.
* Attend site visits as required across the UK as part of the bid process.
* Attend Divisional Bid Meetings.
* Progress submitted tenders and assist in formulation of tender returns.
The successful candidate:
* Educated to HNC/HND Standard (or equivalent).
* Excellent management experience.
* Must hold a relevant qualification in quantity surveying (degree level preferable).
* Experience working within a QS capacity.
* Relevant experience of estimating within the FM Industry.
* Experience of working in an SFG20 environment is desirable.
* Proficient IT Skills including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* Ability to obtain SC Clearance.
* Hold a full UK driving licence.
