We're on the lookout for an experienced Project Manager with experience working within the semiconductor industry. With a track record of delivery within the semiconductor industry, you'll support the product development lifecycle, working on world-changing battery applications.
The role presents the opportunity to contribute to game-changing battery storage technology, potentially transforming the electric vehicles (EVs), industrial transport, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) industries.
The Role
As the Project Manager, you'll be providing key support to the team during a period of maternity leave, helping to lead and manage the product development lifecycle for their post-silicon deliverables. You will oversee test development, qualification, characterisation, and safe launch processes, utilising your experience in semiconductor development, particularly from Tape-Out to Mass Production.
Further responsibilities will include:
Comprehensive Project Planning
Develop detailed project plans with milestones, deliverables, and timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless project execution.
Effective Monitoring and Adjustment
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives and deadlines, manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs, and measure performance with appropriate tools.
Risk Management
Perform risk management to minimise project risks and ensure project success.
Post-Silicon Deliverables Management
Ensure timely delivery of Test Development and qualification process milestones, oversee the characterisation process, and ensure a safe product launch through meticulous planning.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with various teams to align project goals, and communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders, facilitating problem-solving and decision-making.
To thrive in this role, you will have
1. A bachelor's degree in engineering, Project Management, or a closely related field.
2. Proven project management experience in the semiconductor industry, focusing on post-silicon deliverables.
3. Expertise in test development, qualification, characterisation, and product launch, with automotive industry experience being highly desirable.
4. In-depth knowledge of the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and related standards.
