Key Responsibilities:
Managing costs on a wide variety of water projects
Assisting in establishing clients' requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
Performing risk, value management, and cost control
Identifying, analysing, and developing responses to commercial risks
Drafting and overseeing NEC contracts, ensuring compliance
Providing advice on contractual claims
Maintaining awareness of the different contracts in use and their respective procedures
Job Requirements:
Experience in quantity surveying within the water industry
Understanding of NEC contract management
Proficiency in preparing and managing tender and contract documents
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
