Azenta Life Sciences is seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration Commissioning Engineer to join their team. Based in Manchester, this role involves frequent international travel.
This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge automated sample management systems that prioritize environmental compliance, energy reduction, and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commissioning and be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the end-to-end commissioning process.
About the Role
Key responsibilities include:
* Commissioning and servicing ULT (-80°C) and -20°C Refrigeration Systems.
* Maintaining excellent service levels, ensuring a first-class experience for customers.
* Taking on projects as required and seeing them through to successful completion.
* Promoting Azenta's products and services to employees, customers, suppliers, and externally.
* Actively investigating client specifications and settings.
* Operating across both project and service divisions.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Wealth of experience within commissioning.
* In-depth knowledge of the commissioning process and associated activities.
* Effective communication and influencing skills.
* An unwavering attention to detail, resulting in zero errors or defects.
* Flexibility and a proactive approach, with the ability to work independently.
* C&G 2079 'F-Gas' Category 1 Qualification.
* C&G / NVQ or equivalent in Refrigeration Systems.
* CO2 Trained/Qualified.
* Hydrocarbon Trained/Qualified.
* CSCS Card (training will be provided if necessary).
* A full clean UK driving license.
The salary range for this position is £50,000-£65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
