Randstad CPE Facilities Management Team are working with a well-renowned facilities management, who are seeking an experienced, time served joiner; who has experience working within commercial environments, carrying out all areas of maintenance and minor remedial tasks within existing Facilities Management contracts.
This is a full time and permanent opportunity based at a static site in LS1.
The working hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 14:00-22:00pm.

1. Competitive salary up to £30,000 (depending on experience)

This role will be covering all trades including carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical and mechanical tasks.
Main duties will include:
5. Carry out planned preventative maintenance on engineering services and fabric as required.
6. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of the building fabric as required
7. Carry out escorting duties of sub-contractors as and when required
8. Control of water testing regimes and upkeep of the water log book.
9. Procure materials and equipment to carry out works through the Supervisor or Manager.
10. Complete work sheets for works undertaken and obtain authorisation from the Clients representative.
11. Advise Client of minor additional works and compile estimates through the Supervisor or Manager.
12. Attend call outs/breakdowns, carry out fault diagnosis, repair or advise as required.
13. Be available to carry out necessary works outside normal hours with additional remuneration
14. Be part of a call out rota
15. To ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to.
16. To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required
Ideal candidate:
17. Level 3 in carpentry or joinery
18. Great communication skills
19. Experience working within a facilities maintenance environment
