1. Position: Paralegal – Property
2. Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum depending on experience plus very good company benefits
3. Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex
4. Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 -17:30, office based. Very well appointed offices in central location.
5. Office based close to the station area with free residential parking also available nearby.
We are delighted to be partnered with our professional, established and highly reputable legal client as they seek to recruit a Property Paralegal to join their experienced and friendly team within their offices in Haywards Heath. This is a superb opportunity to join a highly thought of firm.
My client is seeking two years plus previous experience of working as a Property Paralegal or Assistant.
Property Paralegal
Duties will include:
6. To provide general administrative assistance to the Residential Property Department to include:
7. Opening new files, preparing and sending client letters
8. Dealing with Anti-Money Laundering/ECOS/Client ID
9. Exchange and completion processes along with post completion tasks
10. Preparation of invoices
11. Managing fee earners diary and booking appointments
12. Liaising with clients generally to progress files
13. Drafting standard documents
14. Ordering Land Registry documents
15. Processing funds requests and receipts
16. Electronic and physical file management including preparing completed files for archive
Experience, competencies and knowledge required:
17. Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
18. Numerate with experience of legal billing
19. Have strong written and spoken communication skills
20. Have excellent IT skills
