Covering Brighouse, Rastrick, Halifax areas - Full driving licence and car required for this role.
Experience in healthcare, understanding of learning disabilities, epilepsy, and challenging behaviours, as well as a compassionate approach to care are all desired.
Use own initiative whilst lone working in the community.
The ideal candidate will have experience in PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, suctioning/cough assist, and possess knowledge in diabetes care and catheter care.

Salary: £12.50 per hour.
Hours: Bank/Relief - Monday to Friday 8am-5 pm/weekends occasionally (flexibility required).
Holidays: 33 days per year (pro rata).

Duties include: personalized care, management of epilepsy, addressing challenging behaviours with empathy, assisting with mobility challenges, adapting communication methods for visual impairment, and fostering emotional well-being. Working closely with the individual and their support network to tailor care to their specific needs.
Our refer a friend scheme is worth £200 in total. This is split £100 after the person has worked 100 hours and then another £100 when they have passed probation (6 months usually).
