Accountant - Fund Management
Our client is a leading Fund Management company are looking for newly qualified accountant to come into a new and challenging role for the business.
Role Overview
Provide support to the Finance function, including financial reporting and control activities across both fund and corporate finance.
Main tasks & responsibilities:
* Support the monthly valuation sign off.
* Undertake daily, monthly, and quarterly financial reconciliations and reviews.
* Support the accounts payable process through the review and recalculation of
* management fees.
* Provide support in the preparation and audit and annual
* statutory financial statements.
* Assist in the completion of financial control activities.
* Provide support and cover for the Fund Accountant and the Corporate Accountant.
Person Specification
Essential knowledge, skills & experience:
* Graduate degree in accounting / finance or similar mathematical or business-related
* discipline
* Relevant post graduate professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or part
* qualified
* Intellectual curiosity and desire for professional development within the sector
* Excellent communication and team-working skills
* Highly motivated, strong work ethic, self starter
