Committed to excellence and innovation, they are dedicated to achieving net zero and transforming the UK's energy landscape.The RoleThe Planning Manager will be responsible for directly managing a portfolio of large-scale grid-connected solar and energy storage projects, coordinating input from multi-disciplinary in-house and external teams from early stage through to a “ready-to-build” (RTB) project. The key responsibilities of the role are to:
1. Act as a key point of contact for projects, managing input from property, planning, grid, technical, legal, and commercial teams.
2. Ensure development projects are managed proactively against clearly defined project timescales and milestones.
3. Lead on the planning aspects of the project, coordinating external consultants and managing community engagement activity.
4. Ensure all key stakeholders in a project are identified and are included in a stakeholder management plan.
5. Prepare weekly status updates on projects, reporting progress against the plan and detailing risks and mitigation.
