The difference you’ll make.
1. Solving complex business problems to help the bank develop appropriate credit risk management strategies, driving forward practical value-based solutions
2. Providing Senior Managers across the bank with insight and sophisticated analysis of business performance and future potential
3. Identifying key portfolio issues requiring further investigation using in depth knowledge of credit portfolio performance
4. Taking accountability for an area of credit policy, monitoring performance, clearly communicating issues, developing and recommending changes where appropriate
5. Challenging proposals and decisions that conflict with sound, value based credit portfolio management
6. Ensuring that strong links are maintained between Risk and other key business areas
What you’ll bring.
7. Experience in credit risk/data analysis using statistical packages (SAS, SQL, etc) OR Degree level in a numerate subject
8. Ability to explain the results of complex analysis to a non-technical audience
It would also be nice for you to have.
9. Good communication, relationship and influencing skills
10. Awareness of credit industry products and markets
11. Creative thinking as many problems is unprecedented and without guidelines
12. Resilient to setbacks, with the tenacity, drive and keen eye for detail required to solve complex and challenging problems

This role is a permanent role based in Milton Keynes and current expectation is at least days in an office every week.
