Trident Racing Supplies, part of the Old Hall Performance organisation, combining a wealth of motorsport & automotive engineering experience, offering a comprehensive selection of aircraft fasteners, specialty nuts, bolts, washers, hoses, tapes, adhesives, chemicals, lubricants, custom seat materials, as well many other specialist accessories for the motorsport high performance automotive and aerospace sectors.
Trident Racing Supplies is based on the Silverstone Business Park, the home of British Motorsport.
For over 30 years Trident have been supplying speciality fasteners used in the preparation, repair & restoration of all types and categories of performance & competition vehicles.
We are seeking a highly motivated, and organised Sales Engineer to join our team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and technically proficient Sales Engineer with an engineering and/or motorsport background to support our sales team. The ideal candidate will combine their technical expertise and sales acumen to drive business growth, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure the seamless integration of our products into customer applications.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and develop new business opportunities within the motorsport and high-performance automotive sectors.
· Provide technical support and expertise to customers, ensuring a clear understanding of our products and services.
· Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to address customer needs and feedback.
· Prepare and deliver technical proposals and quotations.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their requirements and providing tailored solutions.
· Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a sales engineer or technician within the motorsport or high-performance automotive sectors.
· Strong engineering/technical background with hands-on experience in the motorsport or high-performance automotive sectors.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend industry events.
