We are currently working with a fast expanding legal firm based in Rochdale – Specialising in Commercial Law so all Business to Business within the Legal Industry they are looking to appoint an Enthusiastic / Motivated Legal Co-Ordinator to join their team.
The role is fully office based with great progression prospects – this role is an opportunity to work in an extremely varied role and become a key member of the team which includes bits of: Finance, HR, Marketing, Procurement and General Administration

Key Responsibilities:
1. Handle calls and greet visitors in a polite, professional and friendly way.
2. Diary management; booking and rearranging of meetings and events; making travel and accommodation arrangements.
3. Contribute to the general upkeep of the office promoting an efficient and productive environment while maintaining a focus on security and confidentiality.
4. Ordering goods and office supplies.
5. Assist with projects as directed by the directors from time to time.
6. Onboarding and contract management
7. Helping to prepare letters of engagement and client care information.
8. Supporting with client due diligence and know your customer checks
9. Keeping track of and renewing any retainer or subscription based services
10. Managing the process of triaging requests for legal advice.
11. Manage the scheduling of work and supporting the legal team in gathering information, sending correspondence and general file management
12. Closing case files in line with the Company’s procedures.
13. Liaise with legal cashiers in respect of office and client ledgers.
14. Issuing invoices and sending statements and payment reminders when they become overdue.
15. Support in procuring new services or finding better deals on arrangements already in place.
16. Ensuring that the office is fully equipped; periodically checking stock levels and generating orders for stationary and equipment when required.
17. Supporting with events and other business development opportunities.
18. Assisting the Head of Partnerships in the delivery of marketing campaigns
19. Help organise and send starter packs for new recruits
20. Support the onboarding process for new recruits such as setting up mandatory training
Profile:
– Must have a minimum 1 years’ experience working in a Similar Office / Administration Environment – if this was in a legal or professional services firm, this would be a huge advantage
– Strong Academic Background – any relevant degree in Legal or Business Studies etc would be advantageous
– Good Communication / IT Skills – including Microsoft Package
