Introduction
Our client, a leading retail company in the optical industry, is currently seeking a Helpdesk Analyst to join their team. As a Helpdesk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and assisting internal users with IT-related issues. This is a contract position, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our client's IT Service Desk.
Key Responsibilities
1. Responding to and resolving IT-related queries and incidents from internal users
2. Providing excellent customer service and technical support via phone, email, and ticketing system
3. Troubleshooting hardware and software issues, diagnosing and resolving problems
4. Logging and prioritizing incidents and service requests
5. Escalating complex issues to senior team members or other appropriate departments
Job Requirements
6. Experience in an IT Service Desk or Helpdesk Analyst role
7. Strong knowledge of IT systems, hardware, and software
8. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
9. Good communication skills, both verbal and written
10. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
11. Customer-focused attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional service
