PositionOverview:
The Premises Managerwill be responsible for the overall management and maintenance ofthe schools buildings and grounds. This includes ensuring thesecurity and safety of the premises overseeing cleaning andmaintenance operations managing contractors and ensuring compliancewith health and safetyregulations.
KeyResponsibilities:
* Overseethe daytoday operations of the schools premises including securitycleaning maintenance and groundskeeping.
* Manageand supervise a team of premises staff ensuring their work iscarried out effectively andefficiently.
* Conduct regular inspections of thepremises to identify and address any maintenance or repairneeds.
* Manage contracts with external vendorsfor services such as cleaning security and groundsmaintenance.
* Ensure compliance with allrelevant health and safety regulations andlegislation.
* Manage the schools energyconsumption and implement sustainablepractices.
* Oversee the allocation and use ofschool facilities for events andactivities.
* Manage budgets and resourcesrelated to premisesmanagement.
Qualificationsand Experience:
* Provenexperience in a similar premises management role preferably withinan educational setting.
* Strong understanding ofhealth and safety regulations and bestpractices.
* Excellent organizationalcommunication and interpersonal skills.
* Abilityto manage and motivate a teameffectively.
* Knowledge of building maintenanceand repair procedures.
* Experience in managingbudgets andresources.
