Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for a Finance Director to join one of the North Easts best known businesses that have an opening in their Newcastle office. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Finance Director who enjoys the challenge of leading a strong finance team whilst supporting the Exec Team in driving the growth of the business.
The Role
Reporting into the CEO, the Finance Director will sit on the UK Leadership team and will work closely with the Exec Team to provide strategic guidance and support as the business continues to grow in 2024 and beyond.
Key duties will include:
1. Overseeing the finance team
2. Work closely with the COO on business performance
3. Lead the annual planning and forecasting process
4. Oversee the production of Monthly Management Accounts
5. Ensure all statutory accounts are produced and filed correctly
The Candidate
To be considered for this Finance Director role we are looking for applicants with the following:
6. ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualifications
7. Prior experience within a rapidly growing business (ideally a multi-national)
8. Comfortable operating with stakeholders at Board Level
9. Previous line management experience
10. Strong commercial acumen
