Cammack Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Portfolio Manager to join our team. As a key member of our insurance broking department, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing commercial insurance portfolios, as well as presenting new business opportunities to insurers.
About the Role
We are looking for someone with strong insurance industry knowledge and excellent communication skills to manage our commercial insurance clients' portfolios effectively. The successful candidate will have experience in maintaining accurate documentation, issuing client documentation efficiently, chasing outstanding documentation from insurers, and processing mid-term adjustments.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintaining Existing Portfolios: Ensure that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date, issue client documentation promptly, and chase outstanding documentation from insurers.
* New Business Presentations: Prepare and present new business opportunities to insurers, identifying potential risks and ensuring that all necessary documentation is in place.
* Renewals and Re-brokering: Process renewals accurately and in good time, and re-broker any renewal business as required.
* Client Communication: Deal professionally and efficiently with enquiries and queries from both insurers and clients.
* Relationship Management: Liaise with insurers and underwriters to identify business opportunities and maintain strong relationships.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* Proven Experience: At least 2 years of experience in commercial insurance portfolio management or a related field.
* Insurance Knowledge: Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and market trends.
* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex insurance concepts to clients and insurers.
* Organisation: Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional development.
