Vista Aircraft Maintenance is the in-house maintenance provider for the Vista Members’ fleet, which comprises over 300 light, super mid-size, long-range and ultra-long-range aircraft. Vista Aircraft Maintenance has multiple maintenance hubs strategically located across the. and Europe.

Your Responsibilities
1. To ensure a highly effective and efficient supply of materials and tools at all times in order to meet operational requirements.
2. Responsible for the accurate and timely recording of stock and tooling using the appropriate company systems, including but not limited to receipt/goods in, disposal of, returns, calibration and certification.
3. Responsible for identifying surplus and obsolete stock and scrap, disposing of inventory in accordance with regulatory and environmental health and safety requirements.
4. Reallocation of stocks and on-going stock maintenance tasks to maximise efficiency in storage areas.
5. Participate in the perpetual stock checking function. Support and participation in a rolling stock take on a daily basis and also annually (annual stock take completed out of normal working hours including weekend working).
6. Responsible for Goods Inwards including all regulatory procedures and processes are adhered to including stores inspection, quarantine, segregation, batching, booking into stock etc.
7. Ensures timely and efficient resolution of queries and communication with all stakeholders and Suppliers.
8. Management of repairs to plant and tools including arranging the repair, re-certification, testing and calibration as required.
9. Administer COSHH data to relevant personnel when issuing appropriate materials and maintain accurate records of such products, including the disposal of waste in accordance with regulations.
10. Maintain a clean and tidy work environment at all times, giving special consideration to safe and compliant working practices in accordance with environmental, health and safety policies.
11. Administration related to stores function including but not limited to production and distribution of relevant management information in a timely manner.
12. Timely response to allocated NCRs relating to Stores.
13. Any other reasonable request from management in line with the Stores Operative role.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
14. Full UK Driving License.
15. Knowledge of human factors, human performance and limitations including own limitations.
16. Good standard of communication skills – written and verbal.
17. Experience/knowledge of logistics processes.
18. Good awareness of health & safety and personal responsibilities in an MRO environment.
19. Good Team Working skills.
Would be advantageous but is not essential:
20. Holds or has held a Stores Inspection Stamp.
21. Previous Stores experience in an Aviation environment.
22. Working knowledge of Part 145 requirements in relation to aircraft stores.
23. Forklift License.
24. Ability to control and be familiar with required tooling and equipment plus be able to properly process removed, uninstalled and rejected parts.
25. Knowledge of occurrence reporting systems and an understanding of the importance or reporting occurrences, incorrect date and existing or potential defects.
