You will be responsible for managing change initiatives across Risk with a focus on Group led change initiatives, as well as launching and leading initiatives to streamline processes, enhance data management and implement tactical and strategic systems solutions.
This is a non-team leader role (non-managing people directly) but you will be managing virtual project teams across a range of different teams within Risk and other functions, as well as managing a range of senior stakeholders. Participate in defining the strategic priorities for the Risk function.
The difference you’ll make:
1. Leading, executing initiatives/projects within a Risk Transformation Plan
2. Working with senior business stakeholders to challenge and develop overall Model Risk Management operating model
3. Taking ultimate accountability for developing and managing a change programme to deliver continuous improvements in risk management, control, and business performance
4. Acting as subject matter expert for their area of specialism, regarded throughout Risk and key business areas as the first point of call for advice
5. Creating a partnership culture with key business areas, ensuring input to and influence over business decisions
What you’ll bring:
6. Experience in delivering change within a bank’s Risk function with a focus on Model Risk related projects, with a focus on Credit Risk models (IRB, IFRS etc)
7. Detailed knowledge of change management, including project management and data management techniques and tools
It would also be nice for you to have:
8. Experience of successfully managing and delivering through a team of people, including managing and influencing virtual teams
9. Understanding of Financial Risk concepts, including Credit Risk
10. Professional Qualification like ACIB
